Reservoir Short

A few hours this afternoon at and around Huay Mai Teng reservoir here in Ratchaburi province. No major surprises but one Darter, three Small Pratincoles, one sheltering a fledgling under its wing, a delightful sight but I felt I was intruding and legged it; a good few Rain Quail which I disturbed; an Indochinese Bushlark and two recently fledged Red-wattled Lapwing. Good numbers of Bronze-winged Jacanas and a few Pheasant-tailed also and a fleeting, close-up Osprey. I am expecting River Lapwing to arrive imminently so had a keen eye out plus I was hopeful of Burmese and Long-tailed Shrike, and possibly a Yellow-rumped Flycatcher - no on all counts! No photographs as it was pretty overcast.
